Embedded problems are usually integration problems. Because the same team covers the analog front end, the FPGA, the processor sub-system and the application, the gaps where those meet get designed rather than discovered.

Yes. We are frequently brought in for firmware, drivers or bring-up on someone else's board. We start by characterising what the hardware actually does, which often surfaces issues worth knowing about early.

What kinds of embedded software do you take on?

Can you work to medical device software requirements?

Yes. Medical devices are our main domain and we work with an understanding of ISO 13485, QMS, FDA expectations, risk management, and the traceability and documentation those require.
